Our informal German conversation hour will help you to take the first steps in speaking German. Shopping, dining, asking for directions, reading time tables and learning all about the quirks of interacting with Germans - be assured you will learn more than just ‘Auf Wiedersehen Pet’.
Creative Writing
THURSDAY 13:30 - 14:30
Practical help with style, voice and technique from a published author and professional editor. Learn to overcome blocks, to find inspiration and research your project. Your work and personal writing will improve and you will find the motivation to put pen to paper, or finger to keyboard.
Book Club (afternoon)
MONDAY 13:30 - 14:30
Friendly and informal; come and join us in the library for a cuppa and discussion about this month’s book. Children are welcome.
There will be one book per month, we will discuss as we read. There is no pressure to keep up or even complete the book (you can always catch up with the story at the next session).

Website Building
MONDAY 19:00 - 20:30
Fortunately, you don’t need to be too creative or learn code in order to build your dream website. We will use a Content Management System called Jimdo.
The basic module is free and the only thing you need is an email address to set up a free account.
You will learn to create an attractive and professional website simply and quickly.Beyond that you will learn a little theory about design and usability.
